Conservative Party linked to pro-U.S. annexation cabal
In the last 2006 Federal Election, the Conservative Party kept trumpeting its slogan that it would “Stand up for Canada”. Then, Opposition Leader Stephen Harper during that elected indicated that he would similarly “Stand Up” for Canadian sovereignty in the Arctic. Mr. Harper portrayed his party, as a party which would govern Canada with integrity and openness in a spirit of renewed democracy, in contrast with the ‘corruption’ of the Martin Liberals. As it turns out, these assertions by Mr. Harper could not be further from the truth.
Mel Hurtig, the founder of the Council of Canadians, and also a variety of other reliable sources including veteran CNN anchor Lou Dobbs, now reveal that senior elected representatives and advisors to the Conservative Party, are currently planning a scheme that would hand over Canada to the Bush regime by 2007. The official name for this scheme, is called “North American Union”.
Mel Hurtig, a noted Canadian author and publisher who was the elected leader of the National Party of Canada, provided researchers with the agenda and attendee list of the so-called “North American Forum” at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Sept. 12-14, 2006.
Mr. Hurtig said the “secret meeting was designed to undermine the democratic process.” In addition, the reported Agenda undermines the Statutory position of Her Majesty the Queen of Canada, as the constitutional expression of a Canada independent from the U.S.
“What is sinister about this meeting is that it involved high level government officials and some of the top and most powerful business leaders of the three countries and the North American Forum in organizing the meeting intentionally did not inform the press in any of the three countries,” he said. “It was clear that the intention was to keep this important meeting about integrating the three countries out of the public eye,” Mr. Hurtig further indicates.
The motive for U.S. participation, according to Mr. Hurtig, was “to gain access and control Canada’s extensive natural resources, including oil and water.”
Documents obtained by researchers associated with the Council of Canadians were marked “Internal Document, Not for Public Release.” At least three current Ministers of Stephen Harper’s Conservative Party minority government are cited in the Document as “ring leaders” so-to-speak, of an unlawful and anti-constitutional effort to hand Canada to the Bush regime.
Canadian constitutional and related law is quite clear that any such effort by elected members of a government to subvert the political authority of the Government of Canada, constitutes breach of a Parliamentary Allegiance of Office, and broadly treason.
This is because the reportedly directed efforts of Ministers in the Stephen Harper government, to hand over Canada to the political authority of Mr. Bush, as the American Head of State, without the consent of the diverse Canadian public, can only be executed by the seditious overthrowing of the Crown, i.e. Canadian Head of State.
Section 128 of the Constitution Act, 1867 indicates as follows:

The oath set out in the Fifth Schedule reads as follows:

According to the Sixth Edition of Beauchesne’s Rules & Forms of the House of Commons of Canada:

Should a member violate his oath he [or she] would be amenable to the penalty of not being allowed to sit in the House of Commons. He [or she] may be suspended from taking part in the sittings while still remaining a member of Parliament, or, in a case of extreme gravity, a Bill might be passed to annul his election… The power of dealing with treason is inherent in the Parliament of every country. |
The leaked document clearly substantiates that Ministers of the Stephen Harper Government are sharing information with representatives of the U.S. military-industrial-complex, for the purposes of “surrendering” Canada to a U.S.-based “non-democratic authority”. This apparent government-sponsored effort is designed to destroy the sovereign authority of Canadians as co-owners of their society, in violation of all Canadian Constitutional Acts since 1867.
Pursuant to Section 46 (2) of the Canadian Criminal Codes “Every one commits treason in Canada, when someone (b) without lawful authority, communicates or makes available to an agent of a state other than Canada, military or scientific information or any sketch, plan, model, article, note or document of a military or scientific character that he knows or ought to know may be used by that state for a purpose prejudicial to the safety or defence of Canada;
Furthermore, pursuant to Section 52 of the Criminal Code of Canada, to the extent that the apparent efforts of the Stephen Harper government to surrender Canada to a non-democratic American political arrangement is seditious to “(a) the safety, security or defence of Canada,” the Stephen Harper government has executed treason. If that has indeed occurred, then the Stephen Harper government, if it has any semblance of integrity, must surrender its authority to the Governor-General acting on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen of Canada, toward new Federal Election.

I hope that Canada’s opposition Members of Parliament which come together toward a no confidence motion in the House of Commons. There is plently of evidence that the Harper-led Conservative Party has committed treason.

Is treason still punishable by death? Smarter Canadians have known for a long time that Harper was going to sell them out. I find it very offensive, but have faith that in the end, the real people of this country will stop any such disgusting actions such as binding themselves with American Government. Let’s pray that somehow, somebody really sheds some light on the situation at hand. The USA obviously wants Canada for it’s resources, but it’s not up for grabs! You can’t have us! Try and take us, and you will see the world stand behind us. Desperate times I guess . . . Our country is well worth fighting for. It’s time to remove the current government, and get a real person representing us. Don’t be distracted by the unimportant things in life. Keep Canada the most beautiful and wealthy country in the world! Spread the word!

When will we actually send politicians to jail? I mean real jail and real time for breaking promises made while campaigning, treason, fraud and just about anything else the little people have to face? When will a political party form that will ensure politicians and business people will be subjected to the laws we all have to obey? They’d have my vote and I would actually go out and VOTE because I would have something to believe in.

Could someone with a bit of legal background, and , or ,media attention( Mel for example ) simply file a private criminal information against Harper for treason, with the media in tow, to prevent being given the bums rush? This should be done as close as possible to the next election ,in order to make it the main issue in the campaign.

Yes, these are dangerous times for our nation.
Consider, however, that the Liberal Party is not entirely clean: under Chrétien and especially under Martin (and their various ministers) and earlier under John Turner they served multinationals and large businesses and subscribed to various free trade agreements. Frank Mackenna and his ilk see a rosy future for Canada in sharing golf links and business ties with Clinton and Kissinger and the corporate interests they serve.
The main difference is that Harper and his cabal have been in bed with the annexationists and U.S.-wannabes of Alberta and the neoconservative school of political science and economics from the outset.
The de facto economic and military merger that is already taking place (”deep integration”) is a prelude to a political merger that will be one last almost irrelevant step after the infrastructure has been integrated.
The Banff meetings have to be publicized. Canadians have to made fully aware of the danger posed by Harper’s gang –and the neoliberal Liberals in the mould of Clinton-Blair– and if it be treason then it should be dealt with as such, in Parliament and before the next election. They must be stopped and held accountable.
The Council of Canadians (www.canadians.org) and various unions have had an active campaign on this issue for quite some time. We all need to join forces long before our national anthem becomes a hollow joke.

Bush does not have the brains to figure out something like this. The idea of a North American Union has been talked about for years along with a super highway from Mexico to Canada. Harper is planning on selling us out, it is probably a fait accompli for the most part. The formation of the North American super highway is part and parcel of this next egregious, dispicable crime against humanity. Harper is guilty of treason along with his cabinet. So is Paul Martin, for signing the security and prosperity agreement before he left office. These men are traitors.

I am an American who wishes to keep The USA sovreign. I do not agree with the present policies of this administration. I say stand up and be Counted my Canadian brothers. The treasonous shortsighted people who are planning these changes are not even considering the benefits of our new Bio fuels and coal gassification ideas. The US could be energy independent in 5 years if the billions poured into the middle east was instead poured into these programs. Then The US would not have to try to usurp other governments anymore for their resources.But these progressive fuel ideas are just a pipe dream I’m sure. In 10 years if we don’t stand up against these people we won’t recognize our side of the world anymore. We can’t let a handful of power mad individuals dictate to us what their version of the “right thing” is. They won’t even entertain the thought of any alternatives. Again I say Stand for what is right Oh Canada and know that there are US citizens who want your laws and freedoms to be protected as well as our own.

I’m a U.S. citizen and I see this movement towards a North American Union as an alarming trend. It’s clear that the major players in the world want to force the U.S., Canada, and Mexico into a shotgun wedding. The upcoming collapse of the U.S. $ will likely be used as a catalyst.
I’ve been reading stories in the alternative press on the Internet about their plans for a North American currency to be called the Amero with which they intend to replace the U.S. $, Can $ and the Mexican Peso. NAFTA was the first step. The Amero will be the second step. Once the international bankers have total control of our currency, it will be far easier for them to force the U.S., Canada and Mexico to unite.
I am consoled that many people in the European Union, such as the French, continue to defy the banking cabal by rejecting the E.U. constitution. Nevertheless, most of the damage has already been done. That horrendous multi-hundred page so-called constitution spells the end of freedom in Europe. Let’s learn from our European cousins and oppose the banker’s plans now before it’s too late.

I hate to say it but I’m voting NDP. I don’t agree with them on much of anything but both the Liberals and Conservatives are in favour of joining the North American Union.
Who was the person who crossed the floor to join the Conservatives? David Lee Emerson. What did he get? Minister of International Trade. What was he working on for the Liberals? North American Union. What is he working on for the Conservatives? North American Union. Hmmmmmm.
Vote Green, NDP or something but both of the major two are sellouts.

I am smiling ear-to-ear. (At the fact that so many respondents are surprised at this). For God’s sake, this has been going on - to one degree or another - since the world was made! Remember the Arrow; and Myron Baloney and his finance minister, Michael Wilson? and NAFTA? and NORAD? and the Tar Sands? Remember Ernie Manning, and Kline? Check back on the records of these people and events relating to just about any of our governments (provincial or federal), and you will find that the Yanksymp syndrome has been infecting Canadian society for several generations.
And - most of all - remember Tommy Douglas, who was under investigation by our Maintain the “RIGHT” boys throughout his public life.

Is it not wonderful I voted for these jackass’s and now look at our soldiers over there fighting where the USA has scattered DU all over Afghanistan ,Iraq an Lebanon. And have you seen any of the pictures of babies that have been born since 1991 invasion of Iraq. It is terrible to look at ,and Harper goes over to China and raises trouble about the human rights but it did not matter to him about backing Israel to bomb hell out
of Lebanon and put an imbargo on Palistine when that Idiot south of us called for soldiers, And remember when our boys come home from over seas and start having children with heads out of shape ,no arms or legs. They are going to sue the government for millions of dollars and I won’t blame them.

This has been ‘in the works’ since the late 1800’s/ early 1900’s, I’m sad to say. It’s an alarming action that has many , many of us Americans as angry as you folks in Canada. We are planning to confront the issue in Wash., DC soon. We have been over-run by Hispanics and Lord only knows what terrorists are in our Country due to the wide-open Border. Pray for us and we will pray for you. This must be stopped somehow, short of a Revolution I would hope.

We have an uphill battle here.
Our founding fathers would be ashamed and no doubt pissed.
Canadians for ther most part are non voters and complacent with the constant barrage of beer commercials, sexual pap and sporting events from the mindless media. Until people realize that they are actually meaningless to their current government other than being bonded tax paying consumers they will live on under the illusion that their rights are being protected.
The reality is quite the opposite.
People for the most part do not want to know the truth, period.
Those of us who know the truth or any part of it are well aware of the weight that it carries.
Everywhere I look now I see the lies. It can be quite a personal responsibility.
Anger management is a must.
I will never give up. I will never be part of the “herd mentality” again.
People like John Dempsey, Robert Menard, Mel Hurtig, Roger Gallaway and the like are going to be revered in the future history classes of our nation/world.
I am certain history students will spend counless hours pondering over this era of our species.

Perhaps all that talk about I am Canadian is just about a beer commercial after all. One interesting note in regards to this article - are we all that daft to not realize that this is more than just the integration of Canada-United States-Mexico, but a global phenomena in which I am sure the Elite which would include the so-called Queen of England and her ilk are a part of this ‘Conspiracy’. It is about time the individual started opening their eyes and ears to the real “terrorism” that is occuring in our own back yard!!!

All I can say is, VOTE GREEN! Also, write an email to your MPP demanding that Elizabeth May (Green Party leader) is allowed tobe part of the next federal election debates. The Greens ran candidates in all ridings across Canada in the last federal election and will do so again in the next election. But they are not allowed in the debates while a separatist party IS allowed??? What’s wrong with THAT picture? Do you think someone is afraid to present the Canadian people with a viable alternative? I’m still wondering why this is suddenly news it’s obvious this has been going on at least since Paul Martin was PM. I know John Manley was appointed to this commission by PM Martin.
How is this suddenly something the Conservatives led by Harper are involved with without mentioning Paul Martin and John Manley and probably Jean Chretien ?
It’s a good story but you really take away from the seriousness of this criminal act by trying to use it in a polical way.

i badgered the editor of the Edmonton Journal for an answer to why there was not a shred of coverage for the Banff meeting in sept/06. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Hillier, Manley, Stock Day,,…..Mackay. et’al This roster reads like the who’s who of political power in defense and foriegn affairs, with all military/industry hacks talking about security and integration and streamlining and prosperity blah blah f… blah,………no response. mmmmm. So the slimy editors are in on it to! Wake up People,…..stop paying taxes,…..all at the same time. Today!

The only way to fight this is to get the information out ourselves.Print out these articles or stories..show people the evidence.Remember how we “NAFTA conspiracy theorists” all started to understand and research more into the creation of a North American Union.Get that train of thought rolling with other people..and therefore it will spread.Think of the movie “Pay It Forward”..the more people you educate..the more they will educate as well.Let’s quit sitting back and saying who cares let the fat cats do their job and take away an ammendment or right each week on the news taking away our FREEDOM.Let’s pollute our environments with this information on the corruption of our governments, so enough people could eventually force the media to expose it.ACT NOW..SPREAD THE WORD..it’s the only way!

The problem is that too many of our own families are stuck with their heads in their arses and can’t be bothered to think about anything but stupid American TV shows like the “SurReality” tripe and following non news and never question anything.
Just in trying to tell my wife or her family about any of the goings on in the last 8 years alone, I’m met with rolling eyes and the epithet(to them) that I’m just another “Conspiracy Theorist” and reject everything out of hand with comments like: “Well then why isn’t it all over the news then”? I guess ignorance really is Bliss!
None of these sleeping beauties will wake up until the tanks are in the streets and sweeper teams are house clearing in search of any noteworthy adult males of potential threat or resistance.
Peaceful protest is the only answer since any violence only supports the need for riot gear armored police to put down the threat making resistance look like an act of terrorism and giving them an excuse to make resistance look like an act of Anarchism
as it will be presented in the media.
We need to stop and arrest those few wild eyed nut jobs who show up at those protests and give the cops the excuse to come in swinging. Those guys need to get zip tied and dropped face down on the pavement in front of the cops with a sign attached to them identifying them as uninvited to participate while the rest of the protesters sit in uniformed distance singing protest songs and chanting a demand for elections and Canadian Independence, Constitutional Rights and Freedoms, then vote for anything other than Conservative or Liberal and force another Minority with the NDP & Green parties.
Now does anyone else wish we had a leader as strong as PET again who really loved and believed in Canada? I understand Justine will run to replace Dion the next time around… If we have that long! I think the lad is his father son!
We need to burn the NAFTA agreement and convince those Pension Plan Power Houses to start buying back Canadian industries and businesses. We need to process our own resources and sell CANADIAN MADE finished products without unions via profit sharing and sell to the EU, Japan and China.
We need our own industrial capacity but not with conglomerates! We need to FORCE ETHICAL Business\Employee Equitable Relations\Environmental and Economical mandates Conceived and Driven by “US”~”We the People_eh”! the Voting Public.
If we(every employee) owned interest in our own industries without unions, And Politicians must follow the publics mandates and can be removed for not doing so by elections that are called by the public demand. We can fix this Sick and Drowning pooch!

The Tar Sands should be a Crown Asset that pays our taxes.
Income Tax should be reduced to 15% for the first 35 hours and non taxable for overtime for wages that make sense. Corporate Management salaries should be regulated and have caps set to no more than $150k with performance bonuses tied to them for exceeding expectations. All Banks & Utilities should be forced to be non profit after the cost of maintenance & overhead.
All Natural Resources should be considered National treasures that we all get to share in. And if mining it is endangering the habitat and rivers. It should be scaled back and highly regulated with no foreign companies allowed.
ALL DEREGULATIONS that have taken place over the last 20 years need to be put back in place IMMEDIATELY and the lobbies who pursued them investigated and traced back to their sources. Privatization is for the small business startup!
All those who served in political office since 1970 should be investigated and Audited in search of any evidence of corruption lobbiest payola, and if Guilty, Prosecuted for Treason.
All Government Political Members Pensions should be reduced to match the rest of Canada’s voting public and those who served righteously will get subsidized Senior Care, a free state funeral, and a Library named in their honor. PERIOD! Ok, extra tapioca on their birthdays!
Foreign Corporations who want to do business here will have to will have to sign agreements that they must produce their products for this market in Canada, using Canadian resources and labor but can sell over production items produced here to their home or other markets.
