Globalists envision another 9/11 crisis as great for creating climate for North American Union

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

Robert Pastor, a leading intellectual force in the move to create a North American Union, told WND he believes a new 9/11 crisis could be the catalyst to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Mr. Pastor, a professor at American University, says that in such a case the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP - launched in 2005 by the heads of the three countries at a summit in Waco, Texas - could be developed into a continental union, complete with a new currency, “the Amero”, that would replace the U.S. dollar just as the euro has replaced the national currencies of Europe.

In May 2005, Pastor was co-chairman the Council on Foreign Relations task force that produced a report entitled “Toward a North American Community,” which he has claimed is the blueprint behind the SSP declared by President Bush, Mexico’s then-President Vicente Fox, and Canada’s then-Prime Minister Paul Martin.

At American University in Washington, D.C., Pastor directs the Center for North American Studies where he teaches a course entitled “North America: A Union, A Community, or Just Three Nations?” As WND previously has reported, Pastor is on the board of the North American Forum on Integration, the NAFI, a non-profit organization that annually holds a mock trilateral parliament for 100 selected students drawn from 10 universities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Mr. Pastor had published an interview in Spanish in the Oct. 24 issue of Poder y Negocios. He told the magazine crises can force decisions that otherwise would not be made.

“The 9/11 crisis made Canada and the United States redefine the protection of their borders,” Pastor explained. “The debt crisis in Mexico forced the government to adapt a new economic model. Crises oblige governments to make difficult decisions.”

Make a Donation Pledge

This was the first time WND had found a major intellectual leader behind the push to integrate North America suggesting that a crisis of 9-11 proportions might be just what was needed to advance the process toward establishing a North American Union and the “Amero”. Professor Pastor along with the U.S. Bush administration envisions that “the “Amero” will replace the Canadian Dollar (along with the current currencies of the United States. and Mexico). WND reached Pastor in his office at American University and conducted a telephone interview to make sure the Spanish publication accurately reflected his views.

He affirmed the Spanish interview represents his thinking.

“What I’m saying is that a crisis is an event which can force democratic governments to make difficult decisions like those that will be required to create a North American Community,” he said. “It’s not that I want another 9/11 crisis, but having a crisis would force decisions that otherwise might not get made.”

Editorial note:

The North American Union (NAU) would destroy and replace Canada, and subject Canadians to a Christian far right, neo-fascistic, and anti-democratic political-military-industrial complex toward a sought Orwellian “New World Order”.

Canada’s political leaders stake positions on the North American Union

Monday, March 26th, 2007

While talk of a North American Union may seem sudden, Canada was duly warned 20 years ago by “political prophet” John Turner.

In 1988, just after Brian Mulroney scribbled his signature on NAFTA, the Right Honourable John Turner declared Mulroney had “sold out” the country to the USA.

In an interview ten years later, Turner expanded on his views of the agreement: “By selling out, I meant, that once you yield the economic levers of sovereignty you eventually lose the political levers,” he explained to Policy Options (June, 1999). “My view of the deal is that it is not, nor was it ever, a free trade agreement… because the United States Congress did not yield its jurisdiction over trade. I’ve always believed that Canada does better negotiating multilaterally than we ever would in negotiating bilaterally with the United States.”

Unfortunately, current Prime Minister Steven Harper recently scribbled away even more of Canada’s freedom to trade multilaterally in light of supposed “Security and Prosperity.” He was backed by Quebec’s own Gilles Duceppe.

In the words of author G.W. F. Hegel, “Little wonder that Harper allied with Duceppe – a effective quasi-Republican and a separatist. Both… prefer a foreign country’s system of government over our Canadian system… The American leadership wants Canada’s natural resources at a cheap price. The road Harper and Duceppe are on will make Canada a third-rate trading partner with the USA.”

When asked to lend his perspective on this issue, Mr. Duceppe refused to comment. Ironically, the Bloc leader has built his entire campaign upon the aspirations of a separate Quebec: Yet when his country’s sovereignty is threatened, he refuses to comment? Does he realize that the smudging – and eventual eradication — of Canadian and Mexican borders would actually widen the gap between Quebec and its cultural foundations?

Sadly, Mr. Duceppe’s eyes are locked on the same target as Harper and Bush’s: the pockets of large corporations, or the ‘shadow government.’ According to a translation of Duceppe’s El Universal article, he does not object to the idea of the ‘Amero’ – a common North American currency. After all, money is money right? His people’s identity may be up for sale, but perhaps money can ease the pain. Boldness for bucks: It’s a soul-swap. A trade the Big Business elites are stocking all of their assets in.

Nevertheless, in a cross-section of various Canadian political parties, most agree that Canada’s sovereignty matters more than silver or gold.

Connie Fogal, leader of the Canadian Action Party, believes we’ve already had our sovereignty stolen from us, “and now live under blatant dictatorial practice of the national leaders, and some provincial leaders, and their minions of three countries.”

In June 2005, a report by the nine Federal Cabinet Ministers entitled “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” was signed and implemented by companion ministers from Canada, the USA and Mexico; one of these ministers was David Emerson. When the Conservatives took over, Emerson was re-elected. His retort about moving over to the Conservatives was, “I do not know why people are so upset. I am just continuing the work I was doing before.” [Namely, the implementation of the NAU agenda]

In Ms. Fogal’s words, “The NAU has been the agenda of the North American corporate elite for over 20 years, since the FTA. The SPP is the final push for the NAU – with an ultimate goal of a union of the Americas, South and North into a global power block.” The intended method for unionizing all three countries is by privatizing everything. “There is to be no mixed economy anymore as was Canada’s tradition that worked so well… They know they cannot just take everything away too fast or there will be rebellion. ‘Kill the people slowly’ is the modus operandi, ‘and maybe they will never know what hit them.’ ”

Blair Longley, leader of the Marijuana Party of Canada, seconds Ms. Fogal’s strong sentiments. “Not only is there a growing gap between the rich and the poor; there is also an alarming erosion of economic security… All of these trade deals and security arrangements are about making that happen. There will be more and more social polarization, which means that wealth in Canada will become distributed more like in the rest of the world. We are on the path towards the privatization of the planet, with a tiny minority ending up owning almost everything… These trade deals are the triumphs of lies and coercion, which will have their own natural long-term corrections.”

NDP International Trade Critic Peter Julian, MP for Burnaby-New Westminster, is joining forces with Teresa Healy, spokesperson for the Canadian Labour Congress, and Jean-Yves Lefort, spokesperson for Common Frontiers. Together they’ve declared that they will be making every effort to stop the ‘stealth takeover of Canada’ by the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) and to reveal the truth of the matter to the public’s attention.

“This is the giving away of Canada’s command to the U.S. Republican administration and to North America’s largest corporations,” stated Julian. “We are seeing this with the Softwood Lumber Agreement and with the Canadian Wheat Board, as well as in a variety of other sectors. Stephen Harper is following the legacy of Paul Martin and the Liberal Party and is willing to give anything away in pursuit of so-called good Canada-U.S. relations.”

He continues: “What this means for Canada is lower standards and quality of life in many areas, such as food security, air safety, environmental norms, health care and labour rights. It’s a recipe for lowering standards in our country. This is unacceptable to most Canadians.”

The NDPs are fighting on behalf of the Canadian people to get full disclosure of any agreements the Harper government is entering into, and promise to ensure that Canadians are made aware of what’s at stake.

While softer in her approach to the issue, Tracy Parsons of the Progressive Canadian (PC) Party still recognizes the dangers of the NAU. She highlights the fact that, while the idea behind NAFTA may have been well-intended, the U.S. has taken advantage of its end.

“We have opened our borders to trade, and lived by the rules. Our partners to the south have not.” Overall, she says, “We have to note that the traditional reasons for open and free trade – that a booming economy will benefit all people – just didn’t materialize… In fact, the gap between rich and poor grew during this period.”

Ms. Parsons quickly clarifies that the Free Trade Agreement is not to blame; rather, “there were some flaws in the agreement that needed to be fixed and these have never been tackled. There is also the issue of whether the U.S. will respect its trade agreements and that, too, has not been tackled.”

In summary, she believes that the North American Union “will only benefit Canadians if we, in alliance with Mexico, can push the US to truly become a win-win trading partner.” Unfortunately, after approaching Liberal MP Stephane Dion about the threat to Canadian sovereignty posed by the NAU agenda via the SPP, he chose instead to skirt the issue. His response was pre-fabricated and vague, stressing the need for “North American cooperation while preserving and strengthening our national identity.”

Despite Dion’s supposed good intentions, one wonders how Canada’s national identity can be maintained when the Liberal Party fails to be forthcoming on such vital issues as the eradication of its own country’s borders.

Interestingly enough, Harper wasn’t the guy who signed the papers on the NAU at the Waco, Texas summit in 2005, launched by the stealth-styled Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. It was former Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin.

Sadly, the issue is not about enhancing trade between Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. It’s a matter of not being able to trust our trade partners. According to the NDP, CAP and PC Party, it’s only a matter of time before our identity as a country becomes swallowed up by the power-hungry United States.

Are we willing to sacrifice everything that makes Canada unique: our health-care system, our military, our agriculture, and our environment? With the NAU would come two-tier medicine, an increase in militarization (which, as Tracy Parsons points out, is already happening with our adopting the same stance as the US on the ‘war on terror’), and a finishing off small farmers in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. “Genetically moderated foods will thrive contrary to the interest of humans,” claims Ms. Fogal, “again – all in the interest of corporate profit, not the health of humans.”

Are we willing to jeopardize all of this for promises of ‘security and prosperity’ – promises made by a partner we cannot even trust?

“It is a question of the people in three nations having the right and the power to make rules about their own lives according to their own needs and desires,” concludes Fogal; “in effect, to exercise democracy.”

Unfortunately, a selection of political leaders failed to offer their perspective on the issue. Ken Dryden of the Liberal party was “too busy,” as was the Bloc’s Gilles Duceppe; the Green Party, while initially promising, failed to come through; NDP’s Libby Davies was again, too busy, and MP Garth Turner claimed to be “not expert enough to respond.” Countless others simply failed to respond.

With so many rejections or glib reflections on such a vital subject, it’s apparent that we as the Canadian public should stand up and make our voices heard. Silence can only mean one of two things: a) ignorance on the subject, or b) denial of the truth.

NDP MP Peter Julian states: “Canadians should know that the SPP process supports a North American Union (NAU). The NDP rejects the secretive process surrounding these ongoing discussions. Canadians will never support a political ideology which aims at turning North America into a fortress for corporate interests and neglects the interests of ordinary Canadians. Canadian sovereignty is not for sale to the highest bidder and the federal government has no authority to push for a NAU without a mandate from Canadians.”

No matter the reason behind our political leaders’ silence, it’s vital that we as the Canadian people speak up. After all, Mr. Turner’s prophecies are being fulfilled this very moment.

We need to shatter the glossed-over reality that our country is being sold out from under our feet. In the words of former Prime Minister Robert Borden, “I am beginning to feel more and more that in the end, and perhaps sooner than later, Canada must assume full sovereignty. She can give better service to… the United States and to the world that way.”

Scholar says treason abounds in Canada and the U.S. over North American Union (NAU)

Friday, March 9th, 2007

The American people and Canadians are being betrayed by government cabals associated with the U.S. George W. Bush administration and Stephen Harper government who are bent on destroying national sovereignty in order to create a North American Union. The miscreants include many who function at the highest levels in our government. Many hold membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the Trilateral Commission and pursue a subversive agenda. The cabal is deliberately circumventing the U.S. Congress and ‘We the People’ [and the Parliament of Canada] in blatant violation of U.S. and Canadian Constitutions. Collectively they are committing TREASON. In America specifically, If you continue to believe that the “illegal alien invasion” is the biggest threat to America, you will never understand that there is something far more dangerous to our country called the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” (SPP). As bad as the illegal immigration situation is… you will learn that the U.S. is in dire peril far exceeding the “illegal alien” problem.

Educate yourself. For example, read what your own government has posted on their official websites such as the Whitehouse.gov, SPP.gov, State.gov and Canada.USembassy.gov. You will be aghast at the nearly complete destruction of our sovereignty, Bill of Rights, Constitution, laws, Republic, and freedoms they have ALREADY achieved. This heinous ongoing treason has been engineered by an entrenched cabal of legislators, courts, military brass, and government employees in this and prior administrations. The tyranny is being facilitated by hundreds of people embedded at all levels of the executive branch constituting a so called ‘Shadow Government’ who are working in concert to dismantle this country in plain sight. The agenda was engineered by political-military-industrial elites and kept secret by their deliberately mute media collaborators.

Many in the U.S. Senate AND the House AND the Executive (and their counterparts in the Stephen Harper government in Canada) are working in concert to create a North American Union. They are capitalists whose agenda is authoritarianism, which makes them classic fascists. These elites embrace the concept of a world run by a wealthy few, which they apparently believe will be themselves. Their goal is to achieve the few remaining unfulfilled tenets of a sort of Fascist Manifesto in order to put an end to America, along with Canada and Mexico.

Public-Private Partnerships equals Government-Business anti-democratic collusions

BUSINESS OWNERS with vested economic interests are gleefully gaining direct access to the GOVERNMENT who is facilitating their interests. Under the aegis of the SPP, businesses are gaining entrée and accommodations directly from government departments in the executive branch without intercession and oversight by congress in order to protect ‘We the People’ from a government by plutocracy.

According to Patrick Kilbride, executive director of the Council of the Americas’ North American Business Committee “in partnership with United Parcel Service (UPS), will provide [on January 10-11, 2006] North American business leaders and government officials an opportunity for dialogue on the development and implementation of the SPP… More than 40 private sector participants from companies including Ford Motor Company, Tyco, Exxon Mobil and Grupo IMSA are expected to join government officials from the U.S. departments of State and Commerce, Mexico’s Secretariat of Foreign Relations and Canada’s Ministry of Industry at the forum in Louisville, Kentucky…”

Kilbride said: ‘We see the SPP as a remarkable initiative by the North American governments and we want to ensure it gets the full support from the private sector that it deserves,’ . . . We see this as an opportunity to bring key ’stakeholders’ together in a collegial and collaborative environment to advance our mutual goals in trade and security… Kilbride… hopes the SPP forum will lay a foundation for future public-private sector collaboration.” Article Reference: LINK

CNN’s Lou Dobbs reveals illegal political-military-industrial elite agenda to destroy Canada, the U.S., and Mexico

Friday, February 23rd, 2007

CNN’s Lou Dobbs reports that newspapers and other media in Canada are referring to, as innocent on-going consultations to combat “terrorism” and promote “co-operation” among U.S., Canadian, and Mexican political elites, are actually not so innocent. Talks that are being officially labelled as “Security and Prosperity Partnership” (SPP), are really aimed at destroying the independent sovereignty of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, under the cover provided by the “War on Terror”.

Lou Dobbs

Elites who are linked to a industrial-military complex, are seeking to further consolidate a “North American Union” that is to be run by them. The apparent clandestine nature of these “negotiations” in itself, CNN’s Lou Dobbs further reports, reveals that their sought “North American Union” (NAU) will not be in the quality-of-living related interests of Canadians, Americans, or Mexicans. The NAU is a fascistic attempt to replace the democratic foundation of constitutions in Canada and the U.S., with what Mr. Dobbs reports as a “shadow government” of elites.

The SPP was not spawned with public involvement, but by the institutional convergence of Big Business-oriented economic policies associated with North American Free Trade (NAFTA), continentalist military elite interests associated with the U.S. headquarters based North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD), and the political cover of initiated “War on Terrorism” legislation.

Former Prime Minister John Turner had led opponents against NAFTA in 1988. He charged that this Agreement which was championed by then Progressive Conservative Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, would eventually lead to the destruction of Canada, under auspices of a U.S.-based elitist political-military-industrial complex. Then Prime Minister Mulroney, who is now a principal advisor to the current Stephen Harper Conservative minority government, had denied this claim, saying that NAFTA would protect Canada’s independence, and only lead to “prosperity”. As it turns out, the “prosperity” in the form of the SPP would be for elites, and not for the general public which has experienced a significant undermining in quality-of-living indices. Indeed, Canada has been slipping from its former no. 1 position in quality off-living, as a result of worsening oppressive poverty in Canada.

Worsening poverty in the U.S. has also continued, as the rich become richer in that country. The U.S. has the worse gap between rich and poor of any country in the world, and the NAU agenda would further concentrate political economic power into a un-democratic fascistic elite complex.

Originally, these elites sought to take-over Canada, the United States, and Mexico, along with the Caribbean, Latin America, and South America, under the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas (FTAA). However, well organized pro-democratic opposition in parts of Latin America, and South America, led by Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez stopped the FTAA.

As a result, in the absence of local democratic opposition as a result of a coordinated effort to maintain public ignorance, elites in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, have sought to continue to purse the “conquest of North America” as a consolation prize.

Latin and South American leaders who were presented with the FTAA sell-out of democracy, rejected it. However, in Canada, elites saw fit to sell out Canada, similarly as elites in the United States have sought to sell out without any Congressional scrutiny, American national public interests.

You see, these elites over the years have had enough of having to “share money that could as they see it, be exclusively going to support various elites purposes, instead of being “wasted” in such areas as universal public healthcare in Canada; environmental regulations; holding democratic elections; social policy areas from welfare, to education, to unemployment insurance; and other “budgetary inconveniences” associated with democracy. Frankly, they have had enough of what they see as certain “weak minded” politicians in the House of Commons in Ottawa, and in Congress in Washington D.C., who are holding up “true progress” in behalf of a New World Order where “only the fittest survive”.

As far as these elites are concerned, “thankfully”, the “War on Terrorism” has provided a “great opportunity” in which the diverse public in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, will, on seeing “acts of terrorism” will be “forced” into the NAU to “vanquish the terrorist enemy”.

In Canada, the handful of elites who have succeeded in acquiring ownership to Canada’s mass-media, and who are linked to the Stephen Harper government, and political elites from other political parties, have seen fit to put a “media block-out”. An elite clique has placed an apparent “media block-out” on raising public awareness in Canada, on the “North American Union” (NAU) agenda. The Lou Dobbs presentation has provided the kind of critical exposure of the NAU, which has so far been sabotaged by mass-media elites in Canada, that are linked to NAU advocates in Canada. Silence on the NAU agenda in Canada, stands out as nothing short of the greatest political scandal and conspiracy in Canadian history, and is tantamount to high treason, as defined by Canadian constitutional law.

But in the U.S., where there are been some coverage by diverse media organization; some efforts are in play to fight the NAU. Jerome Corsi of the newly formed Coalition to Block North American Union said: “There’s hardly a major area of public policy where the Bush administration has not, through the SPP working groups, rewritten our administrative law and regulations from being U.S. in nature to being North American in nature.” The coalition to block the North American Union wants to defeat a proposed NAFTA superhighway that would stretch from Texas all the way to Canada.

Parliament in Canada, and Congress in the U.S., have been left largely out of the loop. Lawmakers in the U.S. who have heard, like Rep. Virgil Goode (R-VA), are “hell bent” on keeping a North American Union from happening, “The interests of hard-working businesses in this country, hard-working workers in this country, and the average citizen in the United States should be placed ahead, in my opinion, of some international global theory that I think would harm the United States and most of its citizenry.”

The following are quotations extracted from Lou Dobbs’ coverage which aired on February 5, 2007, as well as February 21, 2007, about the apparent neo-fascist “North American Union” (NAU).

Mr. Dobbs incisively charged the NAU scheme to be “outrageous”.

LOU DOBBS SHOW on the fascistic agenda of “North American Union” Aired February 5, 2007 - 18:00 ET

And a top Bush administration official blasts critics of the White House plan to form a North American union without the consent of Congress or the American people in a speech — you guessed it — in Mexico City.

We’ll have that special report, much more. And we’ll be reporting to you tonight on a perfect storm in public education in this country.

All the day’s news straight ahead here tonight.

ANNOUNCER: This is LOU DOBBS TONIGHT, news, debate and opinion for Monday, February 5th.

Live in New York, Lou Dobbs.

DOBBS: Good evening, everybody.

DOBBS: The Bush administration tonight is pushing, rather publicly now, its Security and Prosperity Partnership, a plan to “integrate the economies” of the United States, Mexico, and Canada by the year 2010. You’re thinking, you didn’t vote for that, your congressman didn’t vote for that, your senator didn’t vote for that. You’re correct.

It is a very ambitious plan for three very different economies and nations. It’s moving forward without congressional oversight, in many cases congressional knowledge, and certainly not the approval of the American people. Nor, for that matter, the Canadian people, nor the Mexican people.

Christine Romans has our report.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNN Correspondent (voice over): In Mexico City, from the Bush administration, a rare acknowledgement of concerns about its Security and Prosperity Partnership.

CARLOS GUTIERREZ, Commerce Secretary: We have three different countries. They are three different sovereign nations. They have their own laws, their own culture, their own history, their own governments. And within that framework we can build a stronger Western Hemisphere without pampering with local and national sovereignty.

ROMANS: The commerce secretary denies an outright plan for a single currency or a European-style American union. Instead the goal is “harmonizing” hundreds of rules and regulations from health care, to trucking, to energy, to cut red tape and make companies more competitive within the three nations.

But critics see stealthy changes taking place deep within government bureaucracies with input from business and academia, but away from lawmakers and voters.

REP. WALTER JONES (R), NORTH CAROLINA: All this is about is about open borders, open borders between Mexico and America, America and Canada. Open borders without any controls, and there’s no telling what could happen to this country that would be detrimental to the future of America.

ROMANS: But Gutierrez says security comes first.

GUTIERREZ: The priority must to be keep those out who want to do harm, but to ensure that we can continue the flow of more goods and the flow of job creation across our borders.

ROMANS: Numerous SPP documents reveal a goal of moving people and goods more easily among the three countries.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ROMANS: According to SPP documents released through Freedom of Information requests, architects of the SPP are aware that they’ve got a little bit of an image problem.

Congressman Jones says he thinks there’s an image problem for a reason. He’s written to the White House now twice about detailed questions about the SPP. He says he’s been ignored on this.

DOBBS: Well, this White House is ignoring and has ignored Congress in nearly every instance in which it doesn’t get a rubber stamp. The idea that Carlos Gutierrez, the commerce secretary, is talking about this in Mexico City and not addressing it publicly before Congress, the fact that all of these things are happening behind closed doors, I mean, why is there not some greater sense of what’s going on, on the part of this government?

ROMANS: Congressman Jones points out that there’s a Web site at the Commerce Department. He says he doesn’t want a Web site. He wants to sit down and find out what this is all about. Trade, these things belong in the arena of Congress. And he’d like it see some oversight there.

DOBBS: I have to say that what we’re watching here and what you’ve reported and all of our colleagues have been reporting on with the so-called North America union, and in a few other quarters, the American people have every reason to be very concerned. The suggestion that these — these corporate and business elites, and now we can include some of the luminaries of geopolitics, George Schultz and others, meeting on these issues behind closed doors, without the approval or the knowledge the American public is ridiculous.

And we’re going to continue to focus on it and get to the bottom of it.

Thank you very much.

Christine Romans.

We invited, by the way, Commerce Secretary Gutierrez to be — to join us this evening. He wasn’t available to join us tonight. We sincerely hope that the commerce secretary will find it convenient to join us here, because I would really like to know, and I’m sure that you would as well, just what in the world the Bush administration thinks it’s doing carrying out this kind of policy without the approval of the American people or the United States Congress. There is still that little thing called a Constitution that does affect all of these — these movements on the part of this government toward a security and prosperity partnership.

That brings us to the subject of our poll.

Do you think the American people should have a say? Perhaps a national referendum before the United States continues to pursue so- called integration meetings with Canada and Mexico? Yes or no?

We would love to know what you think. Cast your vote at loudobbs.com. We’ll have the results upcoming.

Time now for some of your thoughts.

Richard in Illinois said, “Lou, I can’t believe that not one Democrat has signed the petition to give the two Border Patrol agents a full pardon. I hope the American public can see the writing on the wall that these Democrats have an agenda that supports illegals and they will do anything to get the Hispanic vote in 2008.”

And Jack in Utah, “Two and a half million dollars to close off the tunnels between the United States and Mexico? I didn’t know a couple of sticks of dynamite cost that much.”

LOU DOBBS SHOW on the fascistic agenda of “North American Union” Aired February 21, 2007 - 18:00 ET

Also, the Bush administration aggressively moving ahead to create a North American union without the consent of either Congress or voters.

We’ll have that story…

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

LISA SYLVESTER, CNN Correspondent (voice over): A caravan of cars travels along the Arizona desert. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff was visiting the U.S.-Mexican border. Last week, he was in Mexico City.

Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez visited Mexico February 1st. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales January 11th. And President Bush himself will travel there next month.

The high-level meetings are to advance North American integration, also known as the Security Prosperity Partnership.

JIM EDWARDS, NUMBERSUSA: There are several ways it could go. One is modeled after the EU. One is modeled after sort of the — an economic community. It’s beyond the scope of just a trade, free trade zone, which we fairly well have already with those two countries.

SYLVESTER: This partnership is being driven by the U.S. business community, which envisions ships from China docking in Mexico instead of California, Mexican truck drivers transporting cargo on a NAFTA super highway, all the way to Canada. A cornerstone of this model is a guest worker immigration program that relaxes U.S. borders.

Critics say the plan would greatly benefit Mexico but could mean the loss of American jobs and an increase in social costs to U.S. taxpayers.

ROBERT RECTOR, HERITAGE FOUNDATION: The reality is that last year they came close to passing a bill which would have allowed close to 100 million immigrants into the country, most them low skilled, over the next 20 years. That will in fact bankrupt the United States.

SYLVESTER: Those concerned with integrating the economies point to the disparities. The U.S. GDP per capita is $43,500. Canada, $35,200. Mexico, only $10,600.

The average adult in the United States has 12 years of education. In Canada, 11.5 years. Mexico, only a little over seven years of schooling.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

SYLVESTER: And this Friday, another round of top-level meetings in Canada. Secretary Michael Chertoff, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez will be meeting with their Canadian and Mexican counterparts.

Now, the press releases say the focus will be on providing for the free flow of trade, helping secure borders, and keeping the U.S. competitive. But Lou, really what they’re talking about is this new economic integration — Lou.

DOBBS: And Congress is sitting basically on its hands, saying nothing, hearing nothing, apparently, as we continue to report on this outright outrageous conduct. SYLVESTER: And it is even possible that Congress may not even have a say. What we are hearing is that the Bush administration is trying to use NAFTA as the justification for doing a lot of this — Lou.

DOBBS: This is an arrogance and abuse of power that frankly this administration is laying a claim on for the history books to be written for years to come. It’s extraordinary.

If you want — we should let our viewers know, Lisa, that if they want to write their congressmen or their senators, they can go to our Web site, loudobbs.com, and there select your congressional district and whoever’s representing you and your family, or your senator, or both, and you can send an e-mail there with your thoughts on this.

This is outrageous.

Lisa, thank you very much for keeping us up to date.

NAU fascist agenda Backgrounder

“Just when you thought it might be safe to go on to topics other than regional integration and trade practices driven by the love of money and the lust for power, you get blindsided again”, says Steve Yates.

As Steve Yates further reports…

While Americans. as well as Canadians, were reflecting on another anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, “Globalists” of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico were making their way quietly, quietly, to Banff, Alberta for the North American Forum held at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel Sept. 12–14, 2006. The meeting was closed-doors.

Canadians and Americans thanks to an elite controlled mas-media, have been largely kept in the dark about one of the biggest unfolding events of the present decade: the globalist social engineering of a North American Union.

WorldNetDaily was able to obtain materials marked Internal Document, Not For Public Release. The whistleblower, Mel Hurtig, noted Canadian author, publisher, and former leader of the National Party of Canada, told WorldNetDaily that the “secret meeting was designed to undermine the democratic process…. It was clear that the intention was to keep this important meeting about integrating the three countries out of the public eye.”

Representing the Bush administration. in Banff was Former U.S. Secretary of State George Schulz. Representing Mexico was Former Mexican Finance Minister Pedro Aspe. Representing the Stephen Harper government in Canada was Former Premier of Alberta, Peter Lougheed. The first session featured opening comments by each. The sessions that followed had names like, “A Vision for North America: Issues and Options,” “Toward a North American Energy Strategy,” “Demographic and Social Dimensions of North American Integration,” and “Border Infrastructure and Continental Prosperity.”

The event was co-hosted by the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, the business wing of Canada’s superelite, and the Canada West Foundation, a “think tank” that has been promoting regional integration.

Prominent on the panel of the “Vision for North America” session was none other than Robert Pastor, who might go down in history as the Father of the North American Union. Pastor is the author of Toward A North American Community (2001) published by the globalist Institute for International Economics. He chairs the Council on Foreign Relations’ Task Force on North America and served as lead author of the CFR’s Building a North American Community (May 2005). Among other things, this document proposes a North American “security perimeter” around all three nations by 2010. It was this that inspired CNN commentator Lou Dobbs to wonder, last summer, if our elites “had gone mad.”

The “watchword” of these elites was “deep integration”, which Pastor, the CFR, and outfits like the Canada West Foundation have been promoting. The many working groups created under the SPP umbrella are currently “harmonizing” regulations by all three governments on food, drugs, the environment, electronic commerce, rules of origin, textiles and apparel labelling, movements of capital and labour, and foreign policy. The various working groups have signed “memoranda of understanding” or “frameworks of common principles”- or are working on suchin all these areas.

If there’s anything you can take to the bank, this “harmonizing” process is not about, e.g., increasing food and drug safety for the people; it is about making life easier (and profits fatter) for the superelite CEOs in leviathan-sized food and pharmaceutical corporationswired to leviathan-sized governments through public-private partnerships. What is likely is that food safety will go down, and consumers’ choices of, say, dietary supplements over expensive, poorly tested and therefore possibly hazardous pharmaceuticals will begin to be restricted. Major “Globalists”, we ought to note, are well connected to the multibillion dollar pharmaceutical industry. Rummy owns over $5 million in stock in Gilead Sciences, the company that developed Tamiflu® and sold it to Roche, the pharmaceuticals giant. George Schulz owns more than $7 million in Gilead Sciences stock. Today, those in the transnational globalist class do as they please, unencumbered by considerations of ethics, law, or Constitution.

When confronted, shills for the power elite (including on the SPP website, which for the past several weeks has sported a disinformational “Myths and Facts” section) insist that its goals are benign. They just want to increase the prosperity of the three nations so as to better compete with the booming economies of China and India, as well as the European Union, while also ensuring the safety of our peoples in an age of terrorism. The sovereignty and independence of Canada, Mexico and the U.S., they insist, will be respected.

But if the super-elites of the three nations have the populations’ best interests in mind, then why the secrecy? Why have the agendas (and memberships) of the various working groups of the SPP been kept out of sight, not even available on the SPP website? Why does the latter’s “Myths and Facts” describe the SPP as only a “dialogue” between the leadership of the three nations when it is clearly much more than that? Why has it been necessary to invoke the Freedom of Information Act to penetrate the wall of secrecy?

Geri Wood, SPP Secretary, told Jerome R. Corsi that the working groups did not want to be “distracted by answering calls from the public.”

What incredible arrogance!

There is now a North American Competitiveness Council whose advisory board involves representatives from corporations including Wal-Mart, Chevron, General Motors, Lockheed Martin, and others. The NACC met in Washington in mid-August, but we have almost no information because again what was said was kept out of public view and this time we have (so far) no whistleblowers.

There is also a North American Energy Security Initiative, a North American Steel Trade Committee, an Automotive Partnership Council of North America, and a North American Aviation Trilateral, among other transnational bureaucracies formed under the SPP umbrella. Work is underway towards North American Emergency Management and towards Smart, Secure Borders (now there’s a phrase apt to make Orwell spin in his grave!).

There is also the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC), or NAFTA Superhighway, construction on which is scheduled to begin in 2007 by public-private partnerships (a foreign corporation, Spain’s Cintra, has already signed a contract). This system, which will parallel I-35 running north from Mexico all the way to Canada, with a branch extending I-69 also going to Canada through Port Huron, Michigan. TTC-35 will consist of six lanes for passenger cars, four for trucks, a rails system, lines for telecommunications, oil and natural gas pipelines, etc. Its size across has been estimated at four football fields; construction will result in the taking of over 500,000 acres of land from farmers and ranchers in Texas alone through eminent domain. This puts last year’s roundly (and rightly) condemned Supreme Court decision in Kelo v. New London, Conn. in a new light!

There are, finally, the expected incursions into education which have been going on roughly during what we may come to call the SPP era. Students everywhere, at all levels from elementary school to colleges and universities, are being encouraged to think globallyto think of themselves as “world citizens,” which means supporting regionalism and downplaying loyalty to their own nations. Last year a group of students from ten universities spread across the U.S., Canada and Mexico met for a simulated “model Parliament,” the organizers declaring: “A North American Parliament is born.” The universities included Harvard and Robert Pastor’s home base American University, as well as Simon Fraser University and Universite de Montreal representing Canada and Monterrey University and Ecole nationale d’administration publique representing Mexico. The event, sponsored by the Canada-based North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), yet another think tank promoting deep integration, was held in the Mexican Senate last May. Pastor is on the NAFI board of directors.

The superelite has indeed been busy of late! Also meeting in September, this time in Miami (Sept. 15) was the Miamu Herald Americas Conference. Attendees of this confab included more business and governmental elites from Latin and South America. They focused on “free trade agreements, open democracies and security.” One attendee in particular is worth noting: Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, our El Presidente’s brother, who gave the keynote address. Gov. Bush hailed our El Presidente as the “chief Latin Americanist” in Washington. He further let the cat out of the bag by urging Congress to pass “fast track” trade promotion legislation this fall that would authorize President Bush to reopen negotiations on the stalled Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), the super-elite’s long-term goal for the Western hemisphere.

The super-elite had originally hoped to implement their FTAA by 2005, but didn’t count on the level of grass roots opposition either here or by influential South American leaders such as Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez. Chavez’s economics are wrong and I don’t think he correctly identifies his enemy - it isn’t President Bush personally or even “American hegemony,” but rather the emerging New International Economic Order which is transnational and globalist. As a populist, however, his instincts are sound. He understands that an FTAA would benefit the super-elite - many of them based in America- at the expense of his people. To elites like Florida’s Gov. Bush, this is just capitalism: “I believe in entrepreneurial capitalism from the top of my head to the tip of my toes.” When super-elite domination of national economies is equated with free market “capitalism” and no one with visibility questions it, should we wonder when the Hugo Chavezes of the world move “leftward”?

It may be useful to examine a brilliant article by Christopher S. Bentley’s entitled “Immigration & Integration,” from the July 24 issue of The New American. Bentley outlined in very clear fashion how “free trade” rhetoric is taking us into regional government and will proceed from there to world government. “Free trade” is a core tool of the emerging New World Order, currently building transnational corporatist “capitalism” that (given the collectivist ethos being ruthlessly promoted in schools at all levels) they expect will evolve naturally and easily into global socialism with the superelite wielding absolute power.

Bentley outlines the process occurs in five steps, or phases.

First, the super-elite creates a “free trade” area. This lowers barriers to the trade of goods and services among member nations, while quietly instituting a raft of political and bureaucratic controls. This was done in Europe in the late 1940s. In North America, think NAFTA / CAFTA.

Second, it creates a customs union, which adds a common external trade policy and expands the bureaucracy to implement it. Think of that common “security perimeter” planned for North America.

Third, it creates a “common market”, which ends restrictions on migration and allows labour and capital to move freely across increasingly meaningless national borders of member states. “This,” Bentley wrote, “is exactly what is behind the Bush Administration’s fanatical zeal to implement its guest worker / amnesty program.” Indeed, the Bush regime’s immigration policyor lack ofmakes perfect sense if we simply accede that Bush is committed philosophically to a borderless, globalized world.

Fourth, it develops the foregoing into an economic unionwhich requires a fully harmonized regulatory structure, a common currency, a common tax policy and a common fiscal policy. Robert Pastor and others have advocated replacing the dollar and the peso with a common North American currency that would be called the amero.

The fifth and final phase, political union, follows almost naturally, given that since Keynes the idea of an economy- national or global - not regulated to the teeth by bureaucrats hasn’t been on anyone’s radar. Political union develops out of the system of public-private partnerships, yielding a symbiosis between international bankers, other corporations, and the governmental-bureaucratic establishment.

When transnational committees of unelected bureaucrats begin overruling our laws and precedents or if elected officials bow to “globalism” on their own we will know that Constitutional government is dead in Canada and the U.S.. The superelite will then be free to do as they please, which will probably be to begin integrating North America and Europe into a larger “Super-capitalist” union.

Arizona State University allegedly teaches in support of U.S. take-over of Canada

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

Arizona State University is allegedly teaching that the U.S., Mexico and Canada need to be “integrated” into a unified pro Big Business superstate, where U.S. citizens of the future will be known as “North Americanists,” according to the taxpayer-funded “Building North America” program.

Canadian Flag: upside-down

The program openly advocates for the “integration” of economic issues across the continent, and in many places goes further – such as the call for a common North American currency.

One teaching module made available online for professors to integrate into their teachings was written by George Haynal, senior fellow at the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, and implied a joint military is required. Since the security of the continent “is a joint need; it should be supplied as a common enterprise.”

“Given the nature of the threats against our security in the current environment, the first task is to reinvent ‘borders.’ We must exercise the responsibility for protecting our society against external threats where we can do so most effectively, not where infrastructures happens to be in place,” he added. “Multilateral cooperation is going to be essential among governments.”

“It is clear, to me at least, that we must … move beyond NAFTA and do so with a purposeful determination,” he wrote.

Another teaching paper advocates the adoption of a unified North American currency, the “amero,” modeled after the euro currency of the European Union.

The programming the university is providing for help in teaching the new North American focus is just the latest evidence of the mounting campaign for a de facto North American Union. Although most in the establishment press are not covering the controversy, it has earned the opposition of a number of high-level voices including congressmen like Tom Tancredo, Virgil Goode and Ron Paul, and newsmen like CNN’s Lou Dobbs who has described the U.S. government’s actions in this effort as “Orwellian.”

Paul, a maverick U.S. Republican from Texas, has denounced such integration plans and warns that most members of Congress aren’t aware of the situation, and that he is opposing any transnational “superhighway” projects such as the “Trans-Texas Corridor” project in his home state.

Why? The ultimate goal, he said, is not simply a superhighway, “but an integrated North American Union – complete with a currency, a cross-national bureaucracy and virtually borderless travel within the union. Like the European Union, a North American Union would represent another step toward the abolition of national sovereignty altogether.”

Rep. Goode, R-Va., already has introduced a resolution expressing the sense of Congress that the U.S. should not engage in further NAFTA advances.

But progress already is significant down the road to a joint government, evidenced by confirmation that the U.S. government is planning to provide full Social Security benefits to Mexicans as well as a report by the powerful Council on Foreign Relations, considered by many to be something of a “shadow government,” that calls for the transfer of massive amounts of wealth from the U.S. to Mexico and the setup of a “security perimeter” around North America.

A Canadian website set up by those who fear the loss of Canada’s national sovereignty already has established a timeline for the program.

The Arizona State contribution to the move towards a one-government continent was launched because of “the notion that economic integration in the NAFTA Triad (Canada-U.S.-Mexico) was advancing despite the lack of press and public attention it received …” and a new website would allow “those of us in the Triad” to link up with the growing body of research about “how businesses, governments, and organizations were shaping, and adapting to, the evolution of a shared economic space.”

“We are now bringing together the fruits of this research endeavour in a new, updated and redesigned ‘Building North America’ website…” the group said. “We are betting on the continued existence of scholars and policy practitioners who would benefit from a site which would consolidate the research and data we are all generating, and thereby build community among us.”

A telephone number for the managers of the site was unavailable, and a WND e-mail to the site did not generate a response.

But the goal is clear: “The links, documents, and other materials on this site have been selected, organized, and in some cases designed to advance teaching and research on North American regional integration. … At the same time the site also aims to benefit the broader community of North Americanists, within the academy and beyond, by putting at our collective fingertips – or mouse-reach – the kinds of current and historical material that will benefit research into, and understanding of, North American integration – past, present and future.”

The site cross-references and links to organizations and university centers such as the Center for North American Studies at American University in Washington, D.C., institutional home for Robert Pastor.

Pastor has been described as a leading intellectual force in the move to create an EU-style North American Community, and recently told WND he believes a new 9/11 crisis could be the catalyst to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Pastor said that in such a case the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP – launched in 2005 by the heads of the three countries at a summit in Waco, Texas – could be developed into a continental union, complete with a new currency, the amero, that would replace the U.S. dollar.

At American University, Pastor directs the Center for North American Studies where he teaches a course entitled “North America: A Union, A Community, or Just Three Nations?” As WND previously has reported, Pastor is on the board of the North American Forum on Integration, the NAFI, a non-profit organization that annually holds a mock trilateral parliament for 100 selected students drawn from 10 universities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Arizona State also lists government agencies in support of the merging of various functions that historically have been handled by each government, such as the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, “the U.S. Department of Commerce, and others.

The website’s archive contains “influential papers and articles which have shaped the debate on ‘North America,’” including the 2005 document from the Council on Foreign Relations called “Building a North American Community: Report of the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America.”

Also available is a series of “Teaching Modules,” where Haynal’s instructions are available. “The section leads off with an introductory guide to Building North America Into Your Course, as well as a more structured ‘Matrix’ offering sample units by theme and subfield … Each of these TMs either has, or will have in the near future, an accompanying Teaching Note with more detailed suggestions for incorporation into a variety of courses.”

Among the organizations being promoted are the Council of The Americas, the free market “thinktank” Fraser Institute, North America Works, North American Integration and Development Center, North America’s Super Corridor Coalition, North American Integration and Development Center at UCLA, the Mexican Embassy, NORAD, North American Development Bank, NAFTA Secretariat, North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation and North American Agreement on Labor Cooperation,

One of the teaching notes lists Earl Fry’s work titled: “The Role of Subnational Governments in the governance of North America.”

Subtitled “Mapping the New North American Reality,” that paper argues that provinces in Canada and states in the United States and Mexico are quite efficiently setting up their own integrated North America with or without their “federal” governments’ participation.

It even warns against renegade states like South Dakota, which has undermined “treaties and agreements signed by national governments” with its requirements for inspections of Canadian cattle, hogs and wheat.

The U.S. take-over of Canada via “North American Union plans were cited by WorldNetDaily editors as the Number One story on the news site’s list of 10 most underreported stories for 2006.

The January 2007 edition of WND’s monthly Whistleblower magazine, which explores this topic in-depth, is titled “PREMEDITATED MERGER: How our leaders are stealthily transforming the U.S.A. [as well as Canada and Mexico] into the North American Union.”

Inflammatory Liberal Campaign Commercial was true after all

Friday, October 6th, 2006

Back in the 2006 Federal Election campaign, the Paul Martin Liberals launched apparently provocative campaign commercials, which were among other things labelled “anti-American”. The most apparently inflammatory of these campaign commercials warned Canadians that a prospective Stephen Harper Government would lead to massive troop deployments in Canada’s major cities. This all seemed to be a far-out and improper attack against Stephen Harper’s Conservatives. However, when Prime Minister Paul Martin, jr. signed a “Security Partnership” Agreement in 1995, with the Mr. Bush, this is exactly the right that Mr. Martin gave the U.S. Bush regime.

George W. Bush (left) and Paul MartinMr. Martin astonishingly in 1995, gave the Bush regime the legal right to deploy troops on Canadian soil for any contrived so-called “security” reason. Indeed Nazi Germany and other similar expansionist regimes were famous for creating fabricated crises. These regimes would then blame scapegoats, like apparently the Muslims of today, who could be isolated, and used to legitimate military incursions, take-overs, and waged wars.

Now the Bush regime can fabricate a Muslim terrorist plot in Canada, like Iraq, and conveniently seize Canadian oil, including the tar sands, and other “strategic resources”, just like Iraq.

The Office of Veteran anchor Lou Dobbs from CNN has also further corroborated a planned U.S. take-over of Canada via a so-called “North American Union” in 2007. The timely deployment of U.S. troops in Canada before that time, would indeed facilitate such a plan for a “North American Union”. And, thanks to Mr. Martin’s signed Agreement, the international community would be powerless to event take action against or even protest a U.S. occupation of Canadian soil, facilitated by Mr. Harper and Condelezza’s reported boyfriend.

The Liberal campaign commercial in 2006 warning of massive deployments of troops in Canada’s major cities, may be in the backdrop of Mr. Martin’s unusually low profile. Perhaps Mr. Martin has a guilty conscience what he has done, and would much rather cower, than reveal his “mis-calculations” and Great Betrayal.

In hindsight, the then apparently “inflammatory” Liberal campaign commercial may very have been then Prime Minister’s Martin’s not so subtle way of informing Canadians of the great danger he latently perceived that he had placed Canada in. Mr. Martin’s sponsored commercial in the context of his previously signed surrender of Canadian sovereignty, appears to have been a desperate attempt to try to save his legacy. After all, Mr. Martin had no idea that his Prime Ministership would slip away so rapidly in 2005, with the assistance of mass-media, led by likes of TorStar and CanWest Global’s “Empire of Disinformation”, apparently infiltrated by operatives for the extension of Mr. Bush’s regime into Canada, who seek subvert Canada as a progressive society.

Mr. Martin’s legacy appears now to have betrayed great champions for Canada. These champions included his honourable father Paul Martin, Sr. Mr. Martin’s actions has handed over Canada to pro-U.S. annexation cabal of Bush regime-sponsored “Harper Conservatives”, which are now in a position to effectuate the presented reality of that commercial. Mr. Martin only has a hope to recover his political legacy by politically “repenting” to Canadians, and leading a mass-movement against the planned U.S. take-over of Canada, in a grab for resources for a U.S. political-military-industrial complex. However, that would take someone of honour and integrity, which he has not proved that he represents, rather than someone who forsakes Canada in favour of his own crass venality.

Anti-Quebec Assimilation plot at Banff uncovered

Wednesday, September 27th, 2006

Quebec is on its way to losing its French language, civil law code, and other rights. Sounds unthinkable, doesn’t it? Think again. Apparently, then Prime Minister Martin, signed away the constitutional rights of Quebec, and other Canadians in a pact with U.S. President George Bush in Texas. This pact is called the “Security and Prosperity Partnership” (SPP), which has now been further consolidated in Banff, Alberta in mid-September 2006.

Stephen Harper (left) and Paul Martin‘Vive le Canada’ reports on a new Banff “North American Manifesto” witnessed by a listed “Who’s who” of U.S. representatives of the political-military-industrial complex, and Canadian/Quebec traitors.

The current Prime Minister Harper, is continuing to reinforce this U.S. assimilation plot, which would render Quebec, a similar fate to Louisiana francophones in the United States — a sort of “cultural fossil” of the past. While this occurs, the Bloc Quebecois, supposedly elected to defend the interests of francophone Quebecers by seeking to affirm their sovereignty, have had absolutely nothing to say to-date on the reported plot to assimilate Quebec like Louisiana into an enlarged United States.

The Apparent Quebec assimilation plans, appeared to be covered under ‘Session V’ held around September 14, 2006, at the American-owned Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, focused on the ‘Demographic and Social Dimensions of North American Integration’. This Session was part of the Agenda reported by the Council of Canadians, and other sources.

The United States is a society which was expanded with the use of violence starting from the American Revolution, and its elites now appear to seek to use the so-called “War on Terrorism” as a guise to conquer Quebec and the rest of Canada. My francophone ancestors did not defend our lands several times against U.S. invasion in 1812, for anglo-Canadian elites and their Bloc collaborators to surrender our territorial sovereignty.

We Quebecers like Americans, but have no wish to be conquered by an elitist agenda which also seeks to similarly oppress the American people.

The whole “War of Terrorism” could be viewed to be a CONTRIVED hoax, with Hollywood-like caricatures, with Osama the leading role as villain. This apparently contrived “War on Terrorism” appears to be designed to legitimate the territorial conquest of resources-rich parts of the globe, so that these acquisitions can in turn be used to support further agendas of conquest.

Mr. Harper’s and Mr Bush’s cliques, could be viewed to have contrived a “Christian smokescreen”. This smokescreen appears to be used to divert attention away from their “anything-but-Christian” selling out of the hopes and dreams of Quebecers and of the rest of humanity for a peaceful world; and which neglects to recognize human, cultural, social, and other related fundamental rights.

In this smokescreen, Mr. Bush’s and Mr. Harper’s respective cliques, pursue indoctrination through politically linked/bought-out mass-media. These media include CanWest Global with other Canadian media organizations, and Fox News, in the U.S., would have us believe, in their sought “dumbing down” mass manipulation of the masses, that “up is down”, and “down is up”.

The United States invaded Quebec and Canada on multiple occasions, based upon the kind of fabricated reasons which precipitated the invasion of Iraq: “There are Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and now we, the U.S. must act to defend the Free World”. In 1812, the U.S. invaded Canada based upon similar fabrications of “defending freedom”, which the United States elites used to expand across Louisiana, toward the Pacific Ocean.

Now, thanks to Mr. Martin, and Mr. Harper, the United States via the SPP can now send its troops to occupy Quebec and Canada based upon some alleged “terrorist” plot supposedly by the “evil Muslims”, in the pre-text of “providing assistance”. Indeed, the U.S. ultra-right which reportedly pursues wars in Iraq as well as Afghanistan (with Canadian military support) to control Petroleum reserves, also similarly seeks Canadians resources from hydro power in Quebec, to the full take-over of Alberta’s and Newfoundland’s oil reserves.

Quebecers and Canadians are advised to be alert to any pretext in which our collaborators will need to “invite” the U.S. military into our cities to “save us” from Muslim scapegoats. Such a context would help precipitate a “new North American partnership among friends”, where Quebec language and other rights that francophones will “of course” need to be surrendered, in the name of focusing “precious resources” on “freedom” against the “Muslim menace”. I can picture now, Mr. Harper, with Mr. Duceppe, and other mercenaries at his side, seeking to activate the SPP, toward a sought “New World Order” in the name of “security”.

In the name of “protecting” Quebec, and the rest of the continent from “terrorist activity”, French language and other rights would be presented as needing to be “temporarily suspended” in the spirit of “friendship” to English-speaking U.S. military and other personnel “assisting” Quebec.

The U.S. political-military-industrial complex seeks to divert as much resources as possible from civilian related social services, and the protection of rights, into a self-absorbed agenda of fascistic control by wealthy elites.

Meanwhile, Mr. Harper like a raging Bull in a shop of delicate china, is proceeding to manipulate Quebec and Canadian cultural institutions, to conform to a U.S. right-wing model, in the preparation for this assimilation.

The Quebec mass-media, which is owned by elitist organizations like Quebecor, have not sought to enlighten Quebecers about the apparent plot against Quebec; just as Anglo media like CanWest Global, the Toronto Star, and other such media organizations, have executed a self-imposed blackout concerning the apparent U.S. imperial assimilation details of the SPP.

The SPP grants the authority to repress French language rights, into the creation of the kind of “Police State” of ‘never ending war and retribution’ that had been envisioned by George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four.

The SPP has been created by a hideous intelligence, drunken with the pursuit of power, that now contemplates the use of nuclear weapons against Iran; as crack cocaine addicts are drunken in the pursuit of a drug fix.

The SPP represents the attempt to conquer francophones, by elites who view Anglo-Saxons to be a “superior race”, and the United States as the centre of that power, that has a “G-d”-given mission to establish its own “Order”.

Indeed, the Holocaust awareness focused Nizkor project, along with other anti-racist groups, have linked membership associated with Conservative Party of Canada with the Aryanistic “Northern Foundation”. The crypto-fascist and racist Northern Foundation appears to be in favour of the U.S. take-over of Canada, so that superior Anglo-Saxon Protestant race can once and for all, impose order against the “inferior francophones” and other races in a North America — which will serve as a model for a “New World Order”.

SPP provides an incentive for elites constituencies (who have sought to take-over Quebec and Canada since the American Revolution), a pretext recognized by international law, to finally assimilate francophones into an enlarged United States mis-dubbed “North American Union”. The SPP is an Agreement which appears to consent to that take-over process. SPP that has been executed with the assistance of collaborators who have sold their souls, makes Mr. Chrétien’s ‘Sponsorship Scandal’ appear to be rather trivial.

The SPP promises to transfer the control of Quebec territory from an elected government in Quebec City as well as in Ottawa, into the sought hands of a “North American” military-led council of imposed Martial Law administered between Washington D.C., and U.S. executive boardrooms.

In an era in which the War of Terrorism has brought together behind closed doors, corrupted elites to pursue ‘unthinkable’ devastations in places like the Middle East. Meanwhile, and in contrast, it is vital that as Quebecers, we embrace the spirit of G-d within all human beings. The people of Quebec and of Canada need to take back their self-governance, from the elites who are misleading us to our own self-destruction. Quebecers need to campaign aggressively against the Bloc Quebecois and Parti Quebecois supported “Free Trade” Agreement, which is being used by SPP to execute the planned assimilation of Quebec.

It is vital that Quebecers begin to embrace a Higher consciousness associated with the embracing of lovingkindness, human rights, and social justice, toward the progressive society envisioned by our ancestors. In so doing, Quebecers with similarly progressive Canadian allies, can begin to overcome an Anglo-American axis strategically supported by traitors. These traitors seek to betray us, and who also seek to enslave and oppress us, in their pursuit of greed and exploitation, under Mr. Bush’s false guise of “Freedom”.

Toronto Star champions pro-war interests

The Toronto Star used to be a passionate champion of Canadian sovereignty into the 1970’s and toward the 1980’s. The Toronto Star had been inspired by the leadership of Canadian nationalists like Walter Gordon, and by investigative journalists like Peter C. Newman. However, in more recent time, the Toronto Star has become a combination of the worst kind of vacuous “fluff” journalism, and crypto-right wing manipulation. Hiding behind a hypocritical public relations front of “liberality”, the Toronto Star has become turned its back against its pro-Canadian inspired journalistic roots.

Toronto Star champions pro-war interestsThe Toronto Star has now become little more than a journalistic mouth-piece of Prime Minister Harper’s sought extension of the U.S. political-military-industrial complex into Canada. This ‘complex’ seeks to remove the expenditure of public funding which is being made into the maintenance of universal healthcare, basic social services, education, environmental protection and other quality-of-living areas. Instead this ‘complex’ seeks to create weapons for use by elites in crusades of domination and oppression, toward the acquisition of oil and other resources.

Our Retro Section pays tribute to the kind of journalism that the Toronto Star had championed, before that former great newspaper became taken over by apparent crypto-right wing reactionaries. The selected ‘Retro’ Section articles are appropriate to re-visit, in light of a worse threat against Canadian sovereignty that now exists.

It is vital that Canadians re-embrace their national identity in the face of the apparent traitors and Quislings among Canada’s elites, that seek to sell out our country to the United States under Mr. Bush, with the support of a self-imposed media blackout. Newspapers that include today’s Toronto Star; the National Post, as well as other CanWest newspapers, and the Quebecor-Sun chain of newspapers, are using their media fronts to destroy Canadian progressive social consciousness, toward their goal of assimilation by the United States.

Stephen Harper’s “Quisling” government pursues further talks for U.S. take-over of Canada

What would you think if it was announced that Canada was to cease as an independent country as early as 2007? Would it matter to you? Would you want to know who was responsible? What would you do?

Well, during the last week there have been announcements from at least two sources that Canada will soon cease to exist as a sovereign country.

Stepen Harper (left) and George W. BushThe first notice I received was in the form of an Aug. 18 email from Connie Fogal, leader of the Canadian Action Party. The email includes a bulletin from the Fraser Institute entitled, “The Case for the Amero: The Institutions of a North American Monetary Union.” A statement near the end of the bulletin reads, “On the day the North American Monetary Union is created–perhaps on January 1, 2010–Canada, the United States, and Mexico will replace their national currencies with the Amero. On that day, all American dollar notes and coins will be exchanged at the rate of one US dollar for one Amero.”

Then much worst news came. On August 30 I received, indirectly from an email correspondent, an article from ‘Vivelecanada.ca’ entitled, “Timeline of the Progress Towards a North American Union”. At the end of the timeline it projected that the North American Union would be created in 2007, three years before the projection of the Fraser Institute!

You might ask how we got into a situation where our country would be dismantled without our consent. Well, from World Net Daily we read that “the White House has established working groups, under the North American Free Trade Agreement office in the Department of Commerce, to implement the Security and Prosperity Partnership (also called the North American Union) signed by President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and then Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005″. This was done without authorization of the U.S. Congress or any level of government in all three countries as far as I am able to ascertain.

Where is all this heading?

We are heading into a One World neo-fascistic government and a One World economy where sovereign countries are being systematically destroyed. It’s >called the New World Order and it’s been in the works for decades. At the moment, George W. Bush is the figurehead leader in front of a neo-conservative (fascist) ruling elite which is the driving force behind the NOW agenda. It is an agenda by and for the ruling elites. The middle class, the only collective power that has the strength to fight back against this agenda, if they could ever unite in purpose, is being systematically destroyed. If the trend continues, the vast majority of workers will be driven down to the lowest level.

Don’t look to Prime Minister Stephen Harper to “Stand up for Canada” as the they indicated during the last federal election campaign; and fight against the take-over of Canada via a U.S. imperial “North American Union and to save our sovereignty. He is solidly behind President George W. Bush. It is even said that NDP leader, Jack Layton, has formed an alliance with Stephen Harper - see Jacques Lemieux’s article in The Canadian in which he makes his case and concludes, “A working alliance between Mr. Harper and Mr. Layton is the only thing that can explain why Mr. Layton has chosen not to apparently rally Canadians against the clearly reactionary agenda of Mr. Harper.”

So who’s fighting for Canada?

There is only one party that has a solid sovereigntist agenda - the Canadian Action Party. David Orchard is also trying to recruit followers in an attempt to turn the Liberal party into a sovereigntist party. But these political efforts, even if one succeeds, will be too late. This is because the North American Union will already be in place before the next Canadian national election. Clearly, another strategy is necessary if we are to save our country.

Where is the discussion on how to save Canada?

The discussion is definitely not in the corporatized “mainstream media”. The mainstream media is an arm of the same elite that is trying to implement the North American Union. The discussion will take place on the internet amongst concerned citizens and concerned organizations, on the streets and in your community. It is the people at the grassroots that have the potential to fire up a meaningful discussion on this issue. If they don’t, we are finished as a nation.

Finally, what does this mean for people in Lumby?

In a nutshell, as the nation goes, so will its people. We will not be impervious to these high level machinations. Our economy will continue to be corporatized and those corporations will continue to merge into larger entities. With the influx of cheap imported goods, small farmers, businesspeople, and entrepreneurs will be driven under by being forced to compete against larger, more powerful corporate entities.

Unless we wake up fast and begin to unite and pose an effective fightback, we can say goodbye to Canada and our prosperous way of life.
